Using This Unexpected Household Item Will Make Your Nails Look Brighter
We all know that toothpaste can work wonders to make your teeth brighter, but apparently, it also does just as well in a pinch for other things.
As our friends over at Women’s Healthdiscovered, it also works as a brightening hack on your nails. Using a pea-sized dollop of the substance on each nail and an old toothbrush, all you need to do to make the trick work is rub the paste in a circular motion and let it sit for five minutes, then, voila! Instantly whiter, brighter nails.
Why so, you ask?
Several of the paste’s key ingredients, such as silica gels and phosphate salts, actually work as a mild abrasive to remove surface stains such as coffee for teeth… or nail polish stains for nails.
Ah, it all makes so much sense now!
