What are you doing this weekend? Want to crash a wedding? Florida couple Paul Johnson and Shelley Osterhout are encouraging anyone to attend their wedding this Saturday. According to News Press, the lovebirds will be celebrating at The Center Court at Bell Tower shops and opening up their festivities (first dances, bouquet toss, dancing) to the public. The shopping center will remain open after hours so attendees can sneak in a quick bite at the shops or grab a drink at the cash bar.
The couples’ love story began online. Osterhout and Johnson met on the dating site Plenty of Fish, where it was reportedly love at first click.
“His picture had a white glow around him,” Osterhout tells News Press.
After a brief courtship, Johnson proposed during one of their routine walks together.
If you live in the Fort Meyers area (or if you want to commute), the wedding festivities begin at 8 p.m. This event reminds us that weddings, while special, don’t need to be taken quite so seriously. At the end of the day it’s not about your cake, your dress or even who is sitting and watching it all happen. It’s about celebrating a happy new chapter together with close friends – both new and old.
