Let WeWork’s New Paris Office Inspire Your Workplace Decor
With growing popularity of places like The Wing in New York City, shared workspaces are becoming the new “it” spot for all your freelancing and networking needs. WeWork is the latest one breaking into the scene with their stylish and affordable offices. Providing nearly 150,000 members with 170+ work locations around the world, they offer comfy common areas and free coffee, tea, and fruit water. And their newest addition to the network in France is decor #goals.
The new La Fayette office in Paris is a serious work of art filled with jewel tones and a whole lot of style. The design team told Brit + Co, “We wanted to honor Paris’ history as a vibrant cultural mecca for the opulent, the bohemian, and the intellectual. We created a Les Années Folles-type space — one that would pay homage to the emerging Art Deco style and provide members and guests with a grand space that fosters cultural, social, and artistic collaboration.”
Functioning as the main common area for members and guests, the atrium is a huge open room with a nearly 22-foot-high ceiling. This central location is filled with leather sectionals, bright pillows, coffee tables, and plenty of lounge chairs. You’ll find an eclectic mix of colors and materials like this throughout the other rooms and work areas.
And yes, their kitchen is just as fab as the common work areas. Tiled in shades of green and white with brass and copper accents, the eating space mirrors the style of the French brasserie but with a modern twist. We certainly wouldn’t mind having a café au lait and chocolate croissant atop one of those stools.
If you’re ready to drop everything and move to Paris (or just head there for a few weeks), you can book a desk for around $530 a month. Pourqoui pas, right?
