Thinking About That Lob? You Will Be After This Heart-Warming Video
Oh, our hearts! We already knew there were very worthy recipients who need hair donated for wigs. And thanks to a video put into the universe by Buzzfeed, we now know just how much hair is needed for those wigs and get to see one example of the type of people donating and receiving. Long-haired Hannah let cameras follow her around while she got a significant 12″ cut off. You’ll see why it was so worth it when you take a look at the adorable Bridget with her brand new wig. Watch this video and tell us you don’t want to lob your locks for someone so precious.
Hannah was sweet enough to let cameras follow her around while she took the plunge, cutting off over half of her extra long hair. She’s definitely our new hero, and she’s about to be Bridget’s, too.
It takes 20-30 ponytails to make a wig, and it looks like they got at least four of them from Hannah.
Bridget suffers from a condition called alopecia, which is the reason she’s getting her new wig. There are several conditions, including cancer, that children need wigs for, and like Bridget’s teary-eyed mom says, “It may not seem like a lot in the big scheme of things, but to a little girl, it means a whole lot.”
