Kim Kardashian West Explains Why She Deleted Her Family’s Holiday Pics from Instagram
Kim Kardashian West knows how to create drama. While teasing the annual Kardashian-Jenner holiday card this month, the reality star shared 25 separate photos of various family members (although sister Kylie Jenner and brother Rob Kardashian were conspicuously missing), with the final shot debuting on Christmas day. But in the five days since the holiday, Kardashian West has deleted the entire series, leaving fans wondering what happened.
When a fan asked about the missing pics on Twitter, the KKW Beauty boss was quick to respond. “Was always the plan,” the 37-year-old explained. “I archived them so my Instagram feed vibe is back.”
Since removing the 25 snaps — which still exist on her Twitter account — Kardashian West has Instagrammed a photo of her grandmother, MJ, a #TBT pic, and a snap of her family at mom Kris Jenner’s Christmas Eve party.
Over the holidays, Kardashian West also shared part of her gift from husband Kanye West via Instagram stories. “Okay, so for one of my Christmas presents from Kanye, he gives me this little box with a Disney Mickey toy, Apple headphones, Netflix, Amazon gift cards, and Adidas socks,” she said as she displayed her bounty. “And I’m like, ‘That’s so sweet!'”
What she thought was a box full of stocking stuffers, however, turned out to be a gift worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. West gave his wife shares in Disney, Adidas, Amazon, Netflix, and Apple and earned the title “best husband” from Kardashian West.
