This New Awesome Phone Bends Around Your Wrist Like a Snap Bracelet

Here’s a phone that is redefining wearable tech — in fact, it’s combining ’90s nostalgia and convenience in a way you’ve never seen. At their conference on Thursday, the tech company Lenovo unveiled bendable phones and tablets that completely change function once bent. With the help of YouTube star Meghan McCarthy, Lenovo showed off a phone that turns into a bracelet and tablet that can fold up into a phone.

The phone, named CPlus, takes bendable tech to the next level. It not only has a bendable screen, but bendable hardware. As McCarthy pointed out, this is a HUGE game changer for those days when you’re wearing a dress without any pockets. The phone automatically adjusts to become a smart watch the moment it is wrapped around a wrist and then snaps right back out to a regular, straight phone. The whole shape reminds us a bit of our love for those ’90s slap bracelets.

The device isn’t yet on the market, and it likely won’t be for a while, but we’re keeping our eyes peeled for the premiere. A few days ago, Samsung also debuted a bendable phone which has our inner nostalgia geek waiting for the resurgence of a high tech flip phone.
