On Thursday night, the stars of Fifty Shades Darker, including Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, walked the red carpet for the movie premiere in Los Angeles. And in a move we totally would do, Bella Heathcote took the opportunity to up the ante on her look with some very interesting accessories.
In the film, she portrays Christian Grey’s distraught ex-girlfriend, but last night at the movie premiere, Bella looked anything but jilted. She tapped into the risqué feel of the film in head-to-toe Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello, a look straight off of the fashion house’s Spring 2017 runway and styled by Penny Lovell. She paired her asymmetrical gold lame dress with black heels and the same long tassel earrings the runway models wore, channeling lots of crazy/sexy/cool-girl glamour vibes.
The earrings, which retail for $595, were what really stole the look. They’re as long as Bella’s wavy, asymmetrical lob, and they definitely made a statement.
In case you’re looking for a similar style that’s a tad more wearable and, ahem, affordable, these Kenneth Jay Lane tassel earrings ($40) are a good option, though without the clavicle-grazing.
