When it comes to sharing details about their relationship, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have remained relatively tight lipped. We are treated to an occasional Instagram or two but that’s about it. The two tied the knot way back in 2012 in a secret ceremony in Charleston, South Carolina and since then we haven’t heard much about their wedding. Martha Stewart Weddings did share a few snaps of their totally Pinterest-approved affair way back when, but we’ve yet to really see Blake’s bridal look. But it looks like we’re one step closer today.
It’s not the head-to-toe shot we have been waiting for, but hey, it’s better than nothing. Martha Stewart Weddings shared this snap from Blake and Ryan’s day in celebration of Blake’s 28th birthday yesterday. They captioned the photo, “Happy birthday to @blakelively! We’ll never forget this sweet moment from her romantic wedding to @vancityreynolds.”
Lively’s dress was made by none other than the fantastical bridal designer, Marchesa. In the Martha Stewart feature they write, “Blake’s cloudlike silk tulle gown featured a fitted bodice, illusion crystal beading on the shoulders, and rose-gold embroidery.” They also dished that “Jeweler Lorraine Schwartz forged Ryan and Blake’s wedding bands.” Blake and Ryan’s third wedding anniversary is coming up on September 9 so here’s to hoping that one of them feels compelled to shared yet another swoon worthy moment from their special day.
