Kondo has been in the organizing game since age 19 studying as a student in Tokyo. Since then, her famous tidying habits have spread across the globe after the launch of her best-selling book, The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing($17), where a *casual* 10 million copies were sold. It’s fair to say the author has cleaned her fair share of homes since then, and, in doing so, discovered that she was *always* reaching for reusable containers for her clients.
