And the Bachelor/Bachelorette family keeps right on growing! Though season eight Bachelorette alum Emily Maynard wasn’t included in the show’s list of success stories, ending her engagement with the show’s winner Jef Holm, she’s certainly creating a success story of her very own.
Finding love post-show with husband Tyler Johnson, the couple is now welcoming their second child together just weeks after season 13 Bachelorette alum Jillian Harris gave birth to her own baby boy.

Announcing the arrival of their little boy with a sweet family snap on Instagram, Emily writes, “Oh Heavenly day…God is good! (Ricki and I are officially outnumbered).”
Ricki, is, of course, Emily’s daughter from a previous union, which ended in tragedy when her fiancé and NASCAR racer Ricky Henderson passed away in a plane crash.
The baby’s gender was a surprise for the whole family, as Emily had previously explained to E!. “As an adult, there are few surprises that you truly get and I just thought it would be fun, and it’s been really exciting,” she said. “I feel like as long as it’s healthy, we’ll be happy and we’ll take [whichever sex.]”
Though it turned out to be a boy, with both Ricki and one-year-old son Jennings on hand, these two parents were prepared either way: a fact Emily proved with this sweet pic of Tyler doing Ricki’s hair.
“Ricki wanted Dutch braids and he has watched every video on YouTube and spent the last two nights trying to figure it out. We are some lucky girls,” she said.
Awwww, how very sweet! Congratulations to the whole happy fam.
