This Bachelorette Just Joined the Ranks of Reality Show Mamas
Just one month after The Bachelor season 17 alums Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe welcomed their first child, son Samuel Thomas, into the world, and days after Bachelorette JoJo went on a double date with her ex while filming for Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After, comes more news from the continually growing The Bachelor fam.
Jillian Harris, who appeared on season 13 of The Bachelor before being cast as the fifth Bachelorette, has given birth to her first child! The 36-year-old interior decorator and host of Love It or List It and her BF of four years, Justin Pasutto, met their baby boy Leo on Friday morning, and it’s clear they couldn’t be more over the moon.

“Born at 6:02 a.m., a ‘healthy’ Leo weighed in 6 lbs., 12 oz.,” confirmed People mag. The outlet also shared the first-ever snap of the beaming couple holding their li’l bundle of cuteness. Looking at that huge smile, it’s obvious that Jillian simply couldn’t contain her excitement.
Jillian herself first broke the news of her pregnancy on her blog, revealing how “the topic of babies was always front and center in our lives, and I waited patiently for Justin to ‘catch up’ in age to me.” (Justin is eight years younger.) “We both decided that the year I turned 36 would be prime time,” she continued. “So, in late 2015, right before my 36 birthday, we ‘practiced for baby’… and got lucky, we found out 12 days BEFORE my 36th birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!”
She’s been far from shy about documenting her pregnancy ups and downs on Instagram since then, offering up all kinds of pro tips. “How on earth do women live through a pregnancy wearing pants? Swing dresses all the way baby (and they aren’t maternity so they are good post-baby!),” she captioned this recent pic in which she paired a striped swing dress with a denim shirt.
One of Jillian’s last pre-baby selfies was this poolside bikini photo shared just four days ago. “Big bump ahead #bumpday,” she jokes. Who knew Leo would arrive just a couple of days later?
We can’t wait for the excited new mama to continue sharing more of her motherhood journey with us, but in the meantime, we’re sending all of our congratulations and good vibes her way!
