Those who work out together, stay together ;) Karena and I see our exercise time as quality time spent with each other. And sometimes going for a run with your bestie is much more entertaining than hitting the pavement on your own. Social fitness is one of the best things you can do to up your health goals too. A study found that if you link your workout schedule with a pal, you’re more likely to stick to it. #perf

1. Up your attendance. Sync your morning routine with a friend or coworker to maintain your #fitgoals! It’s much easier to bail on a workout when you’re just showing up for yourself. We like to recruit a family member or pal to stay accountable. Having someone meet you for a morning class or jog will help stop you from hitting that snooze button in the mornin’.

2. Lift your mood while toning. Every workout, Karena and I are constantly breaking out into laughter! When you’re exercising with a pal, laughing is inevitable. It’s just what happens when besties get together! ;) One study even found that laughter can increase endorphins and make the workout seem easier than it is. And guess what? 3. Brunch, duh. Every workout is automatically better with a little brunch after.
