Rainbow hairstyles emerged as a big trend in 2015. People were dyeing their hair crazy colors that made their locks look more like works of art than anything else. Celebs also got on board with this fun trend — come on, you know you remember when Kelly Ripa rocked *multiple* shades of blue hair. Glow-in-the-dark hair is here thanks to a new type of black light-sensitive hair dye (this is the FUTURE, y’all). You just use this hair dye as you would any other hair dye, but since it glows, you (and your stylist) will want to think carefully about where to put it. This isn’t necessarily something you want to douse your entire head in (although you totally can) because you can really elevate your look if you strategically place the dye on different layers of your hair. That way, when you style your hair in a fishtail braid, for example, your glowing locks will peek through. Scroll down for some more #glowinthedarkhair inspo!
