Carrie Underwood Just Welcomed Baby #2 — Find Out His Name!
Carrie Underwood is a mom of two! The singer and her husband, Mike Fisher, welcomed their second child into the family on Monday, January 21.
“Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday,” Underwood wrote on Instagram. “His mom, dad, and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired, and our lives are forever changed. Life is good…”
The American Idol alum also included a slideshow of pictures that show the newborn with his dad, his mom, and his big brother, three-year-old Isaiah, who wore a fancy hat to meet his new sibling.
Fisher hasn’t yet posted about little Jacob, but his last Instagram pic introduced another new face around their home. “Meet the newest member of our family!” the NHL player wrote alongside a photo of their puppy. “Isaiah affectionately named him Zero. I guess it fits because it’s the chance of surviving if you try to break into our home.”
Underwood announced her second pregnancy back in August, in a video about her upcoming tour for her album Cry Pretty. “You might be wondering, or asking, ‘Carrie, why is your tour starting in May?'” she said in the Instagram clip, before the camera panned out to reveal four foil letter balloons spelling out “BABY.”
“Mike, Isaiah and I are absolutely over the moon and excited to be adding another fish to our pond,” she said. “We’re just so excited and glad you guys can share this with us and be a part of it. Love you guys!”
