Lollapalooza 2019 Will Feature Ariana Grande, Kacey Musgraves, Janelle Monáe, and More
Lollapalooza announced its 2019 lineup on Wednesday, March 20, and it looks like the stage will be sizzling this year. Along with Tame Impala, who were previously announced as performers, those who nab a ticket to the annual festival — scheduled for August 1-4 in Chicago’s Grant Park — will also be able to see Ariana Grande, Kacey Musgraves, Janelle Monáe, and many other music giants. This year’s event will feature more than 170 bands on eight stages.
Grande, Monáe, and Musgraves — the latter of whom will be making her Lolla debut — will be joining other big names like Childish Gambino, Twenty One Pilots, The Strokes, Flume, The Chainsmokers, J Balvin, and Lil Wayne.
H.E.R. will also be there as well as Meek Mill, Hozier, Tenacious D, Death Cab For Cutie, and 21 Savage, who recently faced legal troubles regarding his immigration status in the US (the rapper was detained, then released, by ICE).
Grande has already hopped onto Instagram to post the lineup along with a poster that includes the festival dates and location while telling fans, “See you at Lollapalooza.”
J Balvin took to Twitter to write, “Chicago, we’re coming to see you this summer at @lollapalooza! Grab your tickets and get ready to party.”
Lollapalooza also shared their 2019 playlist to either get to ready for the festival or to enjoy even if you’re not able to attend this time around.
Four-day passes to Lollapalooza 2019 are already on sale while one-day tickets will be available at a later date. If your kids love music, then you’ll be glad to hear that children 10 and under get free admission per ticket-holding adult.
