Disney has served as an inspiration in the fashion realm more times than we can count. Most recently there was Lauren Conrad’s adorable Minnie Mouse-inspired collection, then there was that Vans collab and now the legendary company is teaming up with Marc by Marc Jacobs for a holiday collection we’ll most definitely be adding to our wish list.
Sadly, Marc by Marc Jacobs plans to cease production after their resort 2016 collection, but before the brand bids a final farewell, they’ve teamed up with Walt Disney Co. for a line of pieces inspired by the upcoming film Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass (a sequel to the 2010 remake).
According to WWD, the collection, which will be called “I Am Not Like Other Girls,” is set to include sunglasses, totes, backpacks, phone cases, jewelry, watches, sweatshirts and more. You’ll find everything from cartoon-inspired bow shapes to pansy flowers to heart-shaped keys giving subtle nods to the classic fairytale. The line will range from $60 to $400 and is scheduled to hit stores November 1st. We suggest you set your watches now, because this is one date you really aren’t going to want to be late for.
