Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Hold Hands at First Official Public Appearance Together
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were feeling the love at the Invictus Games in Toronto today, and they let the whole world see it. The typically low-key lovebirds looked relaxed and happy as they sat together during a wheelchair tennis match, and even held hands while entering (and again while exiting) the event — a rare sight for any royal couple. (Though there’s no official rule against engaging in PDA, including hand-holding, the royals typically refrain as a matter of decorum when they’re representing the monarchy.)
The pair, who have been dating for more than a year, looked completely at ease during their first official public appearance together, even as excited onlookers whipped out their cameras to snap photos of the 33-year-old prince and the Suits actress.
Both were casually dressed in jeans, with Harry in an Invictus Games polo shirt and Markle in a loose white blouse (and slaying a stylish slit in the knee of her denim). They also wore sunglasses — apt for the bright day — but the shades couldn’t hide the way they were feeling about each other.
All smiles, they regularly leaned in close to share private messages with one another, and also chatted with people in the crowd around them whenever the action on the court was paused.
We can’t wait to see more sweet PDA from these two — that is, before they have to adhere to more formal royal decorum.
