It’s ice cream week here at Brit HQ! It’s our way of celebrating the last few days of National Ice Cream Month because, why not? Of course, our shop is no exception to the ice cream obsession. While we’re not quite at the point where we’re hand-delivering pints from favorite SF creameries like Bi-Rite, Humphry Slocombe and Three Twins, we do have the goods to outfit any ice cream party. Here are some of our faves.
Scoop-Worthy Serving Ware
You’ve gotta set the scene just right. We love incorporating little pops of color throughout our dessert table, and provide plenty of mini bowls for filling with all sorts of toppings. If you want to go for some DIY Cold Stone action, you can also set up a cutting board for mixing up your own ice cream flavors.
Clockwise from the top left: Colorful Nut Bowls ($3 each); Polka Dot Cereal Bowl ($13); Geometric Ice Cream Cups ($8); Polka Dot Mug ($15); Bright Stripes Wooden Spoons ($10); Scales Birch Cutting Board ($39).
Next up, toppings! Create your own kicked up version of Rocky Road by combining s’mores marshmallows, bacon chocolate and more. You can even create your own chocolate vanilla swirl by mixing hot chocolate mix into your ice cream. Yum.
Of course it wouldn’t be a party around here without plenty of decorations. Whether you’re all about ice cream or not, these colorful goods should definitely be part of any hostess’ party closet.
Clockwise from the top left: Party in a Box ($68); Multi-Colored DIY Piñata Kit ($38); Sherbet Love Tassel Garland ($35); Party Straws Tea Towel ($25); Push Pop Confetti Set ($23); Rainbow Garland Paper Dots ($18).
Finally, some odds and ends to bring the whole thing together. Put out place cards if you’re going for a more formal ice cream social, provide straws for impromptu ice cream floats and don’t forget to make sure everyone enjoys themselves ;)
