Amazon has seemingly taken over every aspect of our lives, from our grocery shopping and hotel recommendations to our wedding registries, but the retail giant isn’t done yet! As of today, the site has launched two stores that will make it easier than ever for parents to send their kids back to school in style.
First up, the newly redesigned Back-to-School store, which features everything from office supplies and electronics to school-appropriate apparel. Rather than combing through separate pages of backpacks, pens, and rainy-day hoodies, you can now find the most-shopped categories on your list in one handy place. What’s more, it’s easier than ever to sort through since Amazon has taken the liberty of categorizing products by type AND grade, from Pre-K to five through grade 12.
If your child is past the age of having you picking out their jeans and Trapper Keepers, but not quite old enough to be trusted with your credit card, not to fret: Amazon has found a way to bridge the gap with a “teen login” that allows you to pre-approve spending.
And, should he or she be beyond their high-school years, they’ve got you covered there, too: Dorm essentials abound in the newly launched Off-to-College shop.
Bedding, desks, and even espresso machines are all on hand to furnish your college student’s new abode in an organized manner that will ease the stress out of leaving home for the very first time.
Customers can shop both stores online, via the Amazon app, through Alexa, or, even better, by clicking on a special Amazon smile link that will allow you to give back to a charity of your choice when purchasing from either shop.
