Carly Waddell of Bachelor in Paradise Reveals the Details of Her “Dream Wedding” With Evan Bass
Bachelor In Paradise season four may be preparing to return after the “misconduct” scandal that recently halted production, but two former contestants are doing their best to keep a safe distance from the drama as they celebrate their own successful match. Carly Waddell, who just married her BIP bae Evan Bass, has revealed the details of her “dream wedding.”
“It was truly the perfect day with friends and family in Mexico. There was no better way to celebrate the start of our forever journey together,” the 31-year-old bride told Us Weekly. She continued by giving a gorgeous description of the magical day, adding, “The setting, in a garden overlooking the ocean, created a stunning visual that I don’t think anyone will forget.”
The couple, who was engaged during 2016’s season three of Bachelor in Paradise (after a bit of a rocky start that any and every fan will remember well), was sure to include Bass’s three children in the ceremony, with Waddell saying, “Evan’s children delivered heartfelt and hysterical speeches that had everyone laughing and crying simultaneously.”
The newlywed was also sure to note that fans of the show have had their backs throughout their entire relationship, saying, “The love from Bachelor Nation has been overwhelming and we are so grateful to all who helped make this day amazing. I’m so happy and SO in love with this man.”
While the couple’s wedding was set to air during season four of Bachelor in Paradise, that plan was obviously up in the air when the current controversy hit. Now that the season is back on and production is set to begin filming again, there’s no word on when/if Waddell and Bass’s wedding will be shown, but we’re definitely hoping ABC decides to share the “I do’s” with us, as we could definitely use a dose of romance, at the moment.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
