March has arrived in all its pre-Spring glory, and with a new month comes a whole slew of DIY inspo. Whether you’re taking spring flower project pointers from the “Brit” in Brit + Co, or following along with the DIY hacks from your favorite celebs, it’s already shaping up to be quite the artistic season. Just last week, in fact, Alison Mosshart and Katie Holmes got their paint on, while Kate Hudson scored major aunt points with an ingenious costume creation. Check out their projects and more in this week’s DIY docket below.

1. Alicia Silverstone: Alicia Silverstone is a well-documented vegan (The Kind Life, anyone?), so it’s no surprise that she keeps her home meals healthy, but this ‘gram proves they’re also home-grown. The Clueless alum titled her caption: “Just picked from the garden with my son to make dinner… there’s nothing sweeter!” Cue the awwwws. (via @aliciasilverstone)

2. Krysten Ritter: Krysten continues to delve into the wide world of knitting, and this week she’s got an adorable little helper in the form of pooch pal Mikey. (via @therealkrystenritter)

3. Alison Mosshart: Though The Kills frontwoman just announced the debut of a new album and accompanying tour dates, she still found time to tap into her creative side, captioning this painting shot: “Camo night patrol. I’ve been in my studio for too long.” (via @amossheart)

4. Kate Hudson: “Auntie Kiki” showed off her DIY babysitting skills, dressing little niece Rio in this makeshift Superwoman getup. And from the looks of that pose, it looks like there’s yet another Hudson star on the rise! (via @katehudson)

5. Nicole Polizzi (Snooki): Another gem from Nicole’s Etsy shop, these stacked initial beaded bracelets ($15) bear the initials of Nicole’s two children, Lorenzo and Giovanna, and the pint-sized craftess says she “wears them everyday.” (via @snookinic)
