Bachelorette Success Story Desirée Harsock + Chris Siegfried Are Expecting a Baby
There’s a celebrity baby boom happening in Hollywood right now (we’re lookin’ at you, Chrissy Teigen, Behati Prinsloo and Olivia Wilde) and the stars of reality TV aren’t exempt from the excitement. There’s big news in the Bachelorette universe, as Desirée Hartsock and her hubby Chris Siegfried are expecting their first baby this fall!
Revealing the big news to Us Weekly, Desirée (who’s now going by Siegfried, according to her Instagram account) admits she had an inkling. “I kind of knew, like, ‘You know something, I think I’m pregnant…We were in Hawaii, when we went for our one-year anniversary. That’s when we took a test and found out!” A pregnancy discovery in Hawaii? This sounds like it could be an episode of the Bachelorette (granted, a Where Are They Now version or something). Totally serendipitous and totally exciting!
But 30-year-old Desirée claims it’s not all fun and games. In fact, it’s a lot of running out to satisfy those picky pregnancy cravings — at least for Chris. “Each day is something new,” Desirée says. “Like one day I’m like, ‘Babe, I really need Italian.’ And then the next, it’s Mexican and the next it’s dessert for dinner. He’s just so supportive and if I’m craving ice cream, he’s like, ‘OK, let’s go get it!’” Super sweet!
