Girls Fans, You Can Totes Rent Shoshanna’s Crazy Tokyo Apartment
If you’ve been keeping up with this season of Girls, you know that Shoshanna is living her dream life in Japan, rocking it at the cat cafes and blending with the locals in a seriously cool-looking apartment. Believe it or not, that apartment isn’t just some set designer’s crazy fantasy on a lot in LA. You can actually rent Shoshanna’s exact Tokyo apartment for only $137 a night. The loft apartment features a balcony, awesome color-blocked decor, pod-like rooms and a sunken kitchen. New life goal: Start planning a trip (or move!?) to Japan.
Listed on Airbnb as the “Reversible Destiny Lofts,” the posting describes the apartment as a living piece of art — a vibe that totally jibes with Shoshanna’s quirky personality (note the pink hair this season). It even has a spherical yellow room that lights up like the sun in the morning.
The living area is full of natural light and windows, and has a “lumpy” floor that resembles sand in a desert. With four pods stemming off the living room — and a large balcony out front — there is plenty of space to relax *and* entertain in this 650 square foot apartment. And don’t even get us started on that hammock in the kitchen!
Don’t know about you, but this has us ready to channel our inner Shosh and book the next flight to Tokyo.
