The best thing about 4th of July being on a Wednesday is that you get two weekends and a middle of the week day to celebrate. Some of you probably enjoyed your first installment of red, white, and blue merriment this past weekend, some will check out epic fireworks tonight, and some folks are prepping all their patriotic gear for this coming weekend.

If you’re still looking for a few last-minute creative ideas, we’ve rounded up all of our Independence Day posts from the past couple of weeks. Happy 4th of July!

Ombre Independence Day Cake: Prep is king in this gorgeous cake. Can’t wait to try out this method for other holidays!

Red, White and Blue Style Guide: You don’t have to wrap yourself in an American flag to show your patriotic side. (But if you do fashion a dress out of a flag, we’d love to see it!)

Stars and Stripes… Fruit Form: You can bet this won’t be our last use of kebabs for making fun and festive designs with fruits and veggies.

Twists on Classic All-American Recipes: From apple pie push pops to mac and cheese muffins, here are 12 bite-size twists on classic bites.

12 Fiery and Festive Pieces of LED Decor: No need for fire to get your sparkle on. These 12 bits of sparkle are sure to light up any 4th of July barbecue.

American Flag Goodie Bags: Adorable and ridiculously easy. Grab M&Ms, Twizzlers, and a Cookies N’Cream chocolate bar and assemble yourself a bunch of sweet goodie bags.

Firework Ice Cream Cupcakes: That’s right. Ice. Cream. Cupcakes. What have those ice cream cake makers been doing all these years? Cupcakes are clearly the way to go. These sweet treats get their firework design from a little frosting artistry.

Red, White and Blue Pops, Cakes and Cookies: Consider this an inspiration board for all that’s sweet, red, white, and blue. Yum.

Happy 4th of July! And if you give any of these a try, we’d love to see photos. Send ’em our way on Twitter or Facebook.
