Hugh Grant Marries for the First Time at 57 Years Young
Leave it to Hugh Grant to do things differently on his big day! It was just a few months back that the 57-year-old actor welcomed his third child with longtime girlfriend Anna Eberstein into the world (his fifth overall), and now, he’s hit another major life milestone: He’s tied the knot for the very first time!
The Paddington 2 star and his Swedish love, who is both a TV producer and the founder of Ace & Me Kids, a fashion brand producing Scandinavian slipper socks, said their “I dos” at the Chelsea Register Office in London on Friday with just a few family and friends in attendance. The happy couple were then spotted smiling from ear to ear on the town hall’s steps.
As reported by InStyle, the beaming bride did away with tradition, opting for a casual look comprised of a white miniskirt with a black waistband, which she paired with a light blue button-down shirt that matched her new husband’s suit and tie.
The actor also bucked customary wedding garb, forgoing a conventional wedding band in favor of a massive statement piece made of silver and featuring three red stones spanning half of his finger. Wowza!
In addition to their newest family member, the newlyweds are parents to a little boy named John who was born in September 2012, as well as a daughter, whose name has never been revealed, born in 2015. Grant also has two children with ex-girlfriend Tinglan Hong.
