It was just over three months ago that Jessica Alba and Cash Warren surprised us all with the announcement that they’d soon be welcoming baby number three. While we knew the arrival of a third little one would officially put the child to parent count in favor of the little ones, we were left to guess whether it would be a little boy or a girl that would be joining big sisters Honor Marie (nine) and Haven Garner (six) in the growing family.
Alba, 36, has just put an end to the wondering, however, as the Honest Company CEO took to social media to reveal the sex of her babe.
The sweet video she posted features the girls pulling the string of an Honest box placed above their heads in order to shower themselves (and mommy!) in a sea of what would turn out to blue confetti and balloons. Yup, it’s a boy for Alba and her fam!
“@cash_warren and I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce…👶💙 #officiallyoutnumbered #babyboy #cantwaittospoilhim #hugsandkissesforlife #soontobeamomofthree.” Oh. Em. Gee!
While that narrows down the couple’s unique name picking requirements a LITTLE bit, they’ve still got a challenge ahead: “It has to be single or double syllable, has to be an ‘H,’ and it also has to be a word,” she recently told Jimmy Fallon. “And it can’t be too weird, because, ya know… like, a little unusual, but you know, what if they want to be a nurse?”
We guess that means Honor’s first pick is out — as the The Veil actress revealed to Jimmy Kimmel back when she was pregnant with Haven in 2011, her eldest daughter “Just wants a brother named Sophie!” Too cute.
