Khloé Kardashian has slowly but surely been expanding her range of Good American denim wares in recent months, releasing everything from bodysuits to modern takes on the ‘00s velour tracksuits of our youth. Now, the reality star has announced that the brand will be branching out in yet another direction, and it’s one that makes a lot of sense, given her current expectant status: maternity wear!
That’s right! The mama-to-be is making the addition of maternity denim to her line with a collection that’s been aptly titled “Good Mama.”
The 33-year-old shared the news over on both Snapchat and Instagram stories, saying, “I’m really excited because I received the first prototypes of our Good American denim. [Co-founder Emma Grede] and I have been working on this for six months, even before I got pregnant, which is crazy. I feel like we’re just putting things into the universe — Ask, believe, receive, I’m all about it.”
The prototypes, which include one pair with fabric placed over the pockets and another with a fabric band near the waist, come just in time for the six-month pregnant star, who says she’s really been missing her regular jeans. “I really miss wearing jeans during my pregnancy,” she revealed. “I think you look so cute and chic, and there’s only so many dresses or leggings I could wear every day.”
Though the collection does not yet have a launch date, with the designer simply saying, “soon,” she promises they’ll be worth the wait. “They’re so cute,” she assured. “They fit so well. These are a dream. I’ve never worn maternity denim before, so I’m really excited.”
