Kim Kardashian West Has Returned to the Dark Side With a New Brunette ‘Do
Kim Kardashian West certainly knows how to keep fans on their toes when it comes to her look! Less than two weeks ago, the mommy of three debuted her most daring dye job yet after making the change from silver platinum blonde to bubblegum pink, but already, she’s changing things up once more, trading in her pink strands for a freshly darkened ‘do.
In a series of Instagram story pics, the reality star showed off her new — or should we say old — hair hue, saying, “I’m back.”
Her stylist, Chris Appleton, noted that Olaplex played a role in keeping her hair healthy while putting it through the chemical process.
Prior to going pink after being Inspired by anime, but it , the KUWTK star shocked the world when she lightened up her signature brunette locks to a nearly silver shade back in September, saying, “I’m been talking about going blonde again for a long time, I’m so happy I did!”
The novelty quickly wore off, however, prompting her to tweet, “I cannot tell you how over my blonde hair I am!” just five months later.
I can’t even tell you how over my blonde hair I am!

While the new brown color isn’t quite as deep a shade as we’ve seen on her in the past, it’s a far closer match to her naturally dark roots, meaning it will likely be far easier on the upkeep — a good thing, as Kardashian West, 37, admitted she spent more than 13 hours with bleach on her head to maintain that platinum shade — yikes!
Spent the last few days bleaching my roots (we do it in stages so it doesn't break off). OMG 13 hours & still going. This blonde is very high maintenance. Love you @ChrisAppleton1 but getting over this.

It appears that in her heart of hearts, the makeup maven will always be a brunette babe.
Welcome back to the dark side, Kim!
