While we’re all still reeling over the unbelievably tragic events that occurred in Orlando just days ago, on June 12th, the country is trying to heal once again and move forward into a more tolerant and loving future. Helping to nurture that healing is the arrival of new humans who will surely make tomorrow even more beautiful. While Fast and Furious star Jordana Brewster welcomed a baby boy via surrogate, soap star Greg Rikaart and husband Robert Sudduth welcomed their own surrogate-delivered baby boy, describing him as “light and love and magic.”

Greg Rikaart and Robert Sudduth

39-year-old Greg, who has appeared as Kevin Fisher on The Young and the Restless since 2003, and fellow 39-year-old Robert, who’s a TV writer, were married last year and apparently didn’t want to wait very long before taking their family from two to three.

Celebrating their arrival while also acknowledging his pointed birth date, Greg posted the beautiful pic of himself with Robert and little Montgomery (OMG sweet name!) to Instagram with the touching message, “We fight hate, fear, bigotry, homophobia and injustice in the world with love, intellect and enlightenment. In the truest and most pure definitions of the latter words, it is with full hearts that Rob and I take great pride in introducing our son, Montgomery Argo Rikaart-Sudduth. He was born in Roseville, CA at 5:01pm on 6/12/16. He is light and love and magic. Monte, Rob, myself and Marcela, our trooper of a surrogate, are all doing fantastic.”

Congratulations to the new family, and thank you for reminding us what love is all about!
