This Is the Coolest Workspace + Social Club for All the #Girlbosses
Shared workspaces are amazing for all the #bosses out there building their empires and slaying freelance jobs, but The Wing takes co-working space to a whole new level with gorgeous living rooms, snacks and charging stations — oh, and showers?? Part shared inspiring offices, part social club, The Wing is the new NYC space that wants women to “take up space.”

"The truth is that women have always written books, made art, done research, owned businesses, led social movements and even ruled entire countries. Women have also done a majority of the less glamorous, underpaid or entirely uncompensated work of social reproduction—the cooking, cleaning, and child rearing that are necessary for men to go to work. We do not need men to fill our shelves because we have always been and will continue to be active, prolific and important members of society. We are the rule, not the exception." - R.H. Lossin, The Wing's librarian-in-residence 📚

Located near New York’s Gramercy Park, The Wing is a girls-only workspace/club that’s totally redefining what a women’s place is. Instead of tiny cubicles, you’ll find stunning spaces filled with pale pink sofas and bookshelves stocked exclusively with female authors. The Wing also hosts tons of events — like a poetry night with Lenny Letter, book clubs and Byredo pop-up shopping sessions — that help connect you with fellow entrepreneurs and keep those creative juices flowing. And the decor alone will inspire anyone!
Founders Audrey Gelman and Lauren Kassan originally pictured a wellness space, but eventually shifted to the idea of a women’s clubhouse revival. The Wing was born out of the belief that “women need and deserve a multi-purpose space designed to make their lives easier, and that magic is created when women gather together.”
The Wing wants to be your “throne away from home; a sacred space where you can work, get to inbox zero, shower, get a blow-out, store your stuff, take a conference call, make a new friend, or even stage a small coup. All in one place.” Sounds like heaven, doesn’t it? This is a space where women make the rules, make valuable connections with other #girlbosses and, you know, run the world.
