This New App Is Like a Tinder for Lipstick
Urban Decay, AKA the most rad makeup company ever (but really — who else would dream up a moondust palette?), announced its Vice line in collaboration with Ruby Rose back in March. The collection has finally arrived in all its glory, and with 100 new lipstick shades in six different finishes up for grabs at $17 — the biggest launch in the company’s history —there’s a LOT to choose from.
Luckily, the company is making finding a favorite that much easier with the conjunctive release of its new Vice Lipstick app.
Designed to allow you to virtually try on all 100 shades, the app works when you first upload a selfie. From there, the app works much like a dating site — you try on lipsticks, and swipe left on the ones you’re not feeling.
And, just like Tinder, you can keep the ones you are ARE into, although no lip service is necessary — simply pick them up at Sephora the next time you go. You’re also able to share them with your friends, so they can (gently) steer you away from shades that aren’t your most flattering.
Sounds easy enough, right? All that’s left now is to find your perfect hue.
We are SO on board.
