Nobody is safe, nothing is normal and there’s no show we’re currently more jazzed on than Mr. Robot. We’re still reeling from last week’s season finale and trying to find meaning in any of the other shows we’ve got queued up. Unfortunately, during this season, we got acclimated to a certain level of intrigue, hacking and INSANE plot twists. For those like us who feel it may be impossible to wait until Mr. Robot‘s season three premiere, we’ve got five more shows ready for streaming that should hold you over.
IF YOU LIKE BREAKING THE TECH RULES, WATCH HALT AND CATCH FIRE
Imagine Mr. Robot during the first computer boom and you’ll have something kind of like Halt and Catch Fire. The gritty show, set in the ’80s, centers around a man out to change the PC game (no matter the cost) and his genius colleagues. You can stream it from Netflix. (Photo via AMC)
IF YOU LIKE GOVERNMENT HACKERS, WATCH HOUSE OF CARDS
If you’re not already addicted to this Netflix original, you’re about to be. It takes MANY turns throughout its four seasons, but one of the most intriguing plot twists involves a government hacker and the President of the United States. It’s high-level, secret tech intrigue — just what Mr. Robot does best. Stream it now from Netflix. (Photo via Netflix)
IF YOU LIKE MIND-BENDING TECH, WATCH BLACK MIRROR
If there’s one thing we know from Mr. Robot, it’s that tech is not always as it appears. This mind-bending sci-fi series explores the darker side of tech and the humans that use it. The show is ready to watch on Netflix. (Photo via Netflix)
IF YOU LIKE POLITICAL CRISES, WATCH 24
Jack Bauer has 24 hours to stop political crises before they spread. This action-packed thriller series spends each episode on one of those hours and the lives of the counter-terrorism agents working to save the day, no matter the method. You can watch it on Amazon. (Photo via Fox)
IF YOU LIKE THE DARK SIDE OF TECH, WATCH HUMANS
This show takes place in a parallel universe where everybody is trying to get their hands on the latest gadget: a robot that’s near indistinguishable from humans. Things get, as you may guess, complicated. And edge-of-your-seat good. Stream it now from Amazon. (Photo via AMC)
