Shop Mandy Moore’s Headband for a Very Important Cause
Blair Waldorf’s favorite preppy accessory is back! On Monday, designer Lela Rose presented her Fall 2017 collection during New York Fashion Week. Among all the tulle and tulip embroideries, Lela showed several Gossip Girl-approved head pieces. And the best part is they — like several other brands — support an awesome cause.
The head pieces were created by luxury hair accessories designer Jennifer Behr and are available for preorder right now. Better yet: A portion of all sales will benefit Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union.
“I love Jennifer’s work and was thrilled to be able to collaborate with her and her team on creating the perfect accessory look for our Fall 2017 runway show, Lela said. “With our gorgeous fabrics and Jennifer’s unique aesthetic, we created several beautiful headband styles that we showed on the runway.”
The one-of-a-kind headband ($265) comes in navy and petal, gold and black. We spotted This Is Us star Mandy Moore wearing the black version at the Marchesa show!
“It’s always inspiring to collaborate with other designers, and I love working through a design process with them,” Jennifer told Brit + Co. “Lela and her team were lovely to work with, and their fabrics and details are extraordinary. As women and women business owners, it is important to stand up and support causes we believe in. Both of these organizations are doing critical work, and it’s so critical to support them.”
