– washi tape
1. Print or laser cut Valentine’s Day phrases. If you don’t have a laser cutter, you can just use an X-acto knife.
2. String onto baker’s twine.
3. Package in an envelope for your secret lover.
Yes, it is that easy!
Print and cut out your favorite phrases using an X-acto. We’re spoiled and have a laser cutter, so we used that.
Chose your favorite colored baker’s thread. We chose to mix our pearly pink letters with a bold purple thread.
Thread your words onto your string. Start with the end of the sentence, so the last you thread on is the first word.
I love you more than I love the ’90s. Um, yeah… that’s a WHOLE lot.
Carefully fold the words into an envelope. Tape the end of the string at the top to give your valentine an easy reveal.
I sent this valentine to my favorite person, Beyoncé.
Make a few to send out to your friends and then pin up the extras in your Ryan Gosling shrine.
Everyone has a Ryan Gosling shrine, right?? XOXO
