The remake of Ghostbusters has been a beacon for controversy from its inception. You might recall the insane amount of backlash it received against its stars’ genders, sparking a pretty epic response from Melissa McCarthy, if we do say so ourselves.

Drama struck again more recently when one of the movie’s stars, Leslie Jones, tweeted about the fact that she was having a hard time finding someone to dress her for her movie’s premiere.

Don’t feel too bad for her though. Leslie had the last laugh when fashion heavyweight (and newly married!) Christian Siriano stepped up to the plate. The two got together to devise a “master plan,” and boy did they ever find one!

Debuting a jaw-dropping masterpiece of a dress to the world last night — the same night as Christian’s wedding incidentally — a beaming Leslie channeled a modern day Vivian Ward from Pretty Woman (post-refined opera makeover).

She even showed off a hand move reminiscent of the film’s famed jewelry case scene in the video below, reaching out to touch the sun and pulling her hand back instantaneously. “I want to thank my baby @csiriano for making me this fabulous gown and for my wonderful stylist @bcmstylez for putting this look altogether!” she wrote.

Even the designer himself was blown away by Leslie’s transformation, taking time post-wedding to post a shot of his muse on his Instagram page, along with the sweet note, “Now that’s how you do it! You look stunning Leslie! Simple, elegant, powerful and chic.”

We couldn’t agree more, Christian. She looks absolutely STUNNING. You’re a knockout, Leslie!
