If there’s one thing everyone knows celebs have tons of, it’s sunglasses. For one thing, a lot of them spend time in sunny California; they also need eye protection from paparazzi. But common folk can benefit from their addiction, too. AKA: Us.
You might have noticed a trend that’s been popping up with celebrity sunnies lately: an upper bar. The “brow bar,” as it’s called, is just an additional bar across the upper part of the sunglass. Taken from older vintage styles, it’s suddenly back in favor this year, with everyone from Reese Witherspoon to Olivia Munn to Alessandra Ambrosio sporting them.

The good news is, all these ladies have completely different face shapes, proving that the addition works on most everyone — stick to the actual frame shapes that work best for your face.
