Summer may not officially arrive until June 20, but we鈥檙e ready for our favorite summer treat 鈥 ice cream 鈥 and we鈥檙e ready for it NOW.

But we鈥檙e not talking your average scoop of chocolate: What with Starbucks ice cream treats and jet black ice cream on the scene, we鈥檝e got a penchant for switching up our frozen delights, and bubble ice cream cones, AKA puffle cones, just might be the answer to all our ice cream prayers.

The invention of Cauldron Ice Cream in Santa Ana, the bubble cone (an egg waffle cone married to a bubble waffle maker) was born last year to the delight of the store鈥檚 patrons, and now copycats the world over are springing up 鈥 Popsugar is even helping you to create a DIY version on your own at home with the aid of your own Cucina Pro Bubble Waffle Maker ($45).

Can鈥檛 wait for the supplies to arrive? Us either. So, in the meantime, feast your eyes on this selection of bubble cone photos that will have you salivating in anticipation.
