Chloë Grace Moretz Posted the Most Heartbreaking Tribute to Her Late Dog Isabella
While celebrities may seem completely un-relatable at times thanks to their lavish lifestyles and flawless selfies, there are a few shared life experiences we all go through to put things into perspective. At the end of the day, they’re real people with beating hearts, just like you and me, and nothing proves it more than an event like a breakup, for one thing. Loss, another. Sadly, Chloë Grace Moretz is experiencing a heavy dose of the latter after losing her beloved 16-year-old pooch, Isabella.
The Coach model took to Instagram to pay tribute to her furry pal with a super sweet post that will tug at the heartstrings of anyone who’s ever been privileged enough to love a pet. “Our baby girl Isabella Moretz passed away today,” she wrote. “Losing your light in this world tears my heart to pieces. You gave us the gift of the most beautiful 16 years with you. I’ll never forget how, when you barked, your entire body would jump backwards because you were so tiny. It was the most incredibly adorable thing ever.” Awwwww!

The 20-year-old went on to say, “I love you little lady. Through thick and thin you were by my side. 2001-2017 Rest in peace my darling angel.”
She’s not alone in her mourning, either. Moretz joins actress Selma Blair, who was forced to put her adopted family dog Ducky down after a terrible accident.
“Run with the angels,” Blair wrote on a shot of her four-legged friend. “So much, sweet girl. Please send us our next dog. With the spirit of you and Wink. Our hearts are broken.”
Losing a pet is like losing a piece of your heart, and our hearts go out to both ladies.
RIP Isabella and Ducky.
