While we anxiously await more details on Blake Lively’s new baby girl, we have some good news regarding another A-list bundle of joy. We’re happy to report that Christina Aguilera has just released new photos of her 6-month old baby – and you guys, she’s the cutest. And her name? Summer Rain!
The singer announced the name of her new daughter back in August, but this is the first time we’ve seen the cutie. The pop singer chatted about Summer in this week’s edition of People. In an interview with the magazine she says, “I was speechless. She was literally like an angel … We had an immediate calm bond, and I felt unexplainably connected to her and her spirit.”
Aguilera seems totally and completely smitten by her newborn, and it’s no wonder. With those chubby cheeks and giant blue eye who wouldn’t be? The momma also has a 7-year-old son named Max Liron with her former husband.
We’re sure by now you guys know how much we love baby names here at Brit + Co, so taking some inspiration from Christina’s nature-inspired baby name, we also sought out a few other epic celebrity baby names that fall along a similar vein. Here are a few worth mentioning and maybe saving for your own little one:
1. Poppy Honey Rosie: Poppy is English chef, Jamie Oliver’s oldest girl. While Poppy’s name is pretty intensely sweet-smelling, her siblings names are just as out there — in nature, that is ;) Oliver’s three other little ones are: Daisy Boo Pamela, Petal Blossom Rainbow and Buddy Bear Maurice. Just imagine what that Christmas card looks like.
2. Sierra Sky: Not quite as wild as Oliver’s names, but still very earthly, this is the name of fitness guru, Brooke Burke’s second eldest daughter. When Brooke coupled off with actor David Charvet, she was again inspired by nature for the name of their daughter together which was, wait for it… Heaven Rain. Summer and Heaven playdate, pronto.
3. Harlow Winter and Sparrow James Midnight: Definitely inspired by the great outdoors but not too over the top, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden kind of nailed the whole nature baby name thing in our opinion.
