‘Clueless’ Style Is the 2018 Fashion Trend You Never Saw Coming
Clueless captured the hearts of fashion experts everywhere back in 1995, and today, the film — and its bold, bright wardrobe — is officially iconic. Cher Horowitz(Alicia Silverstone) was a dedicated fashion follower, one who took the style game seriously while simultaneously having fun. It's no wonder she's still celebrated decades later. One place we never expected to see a revival of the Beverly Hills teen's trademark look, though? The Fall 2018 runways. Sure, everything old in fashion is eventually new again, but even we will admit we were both dumbfounded and overjoyed when designers from Versace to Michael Kors seemed to be paying homage to the legendary '90s flick. Whether it was intentional or not, bright-hued plaids, including Cher's signature yellow, were seemingly everywhere – and we think it was, well, so dope. Versace sent a plethora of babe-worthy plaids down their Fall 2018 runway. Of course, the legendary label added their signature stamp to the look, in the form of black accessories and gold hardware. We think Cher would approve. (Photo via Catwalking/Getty)
