Daniel Craig Is Reportedly on Board As the Next James Bond Movie Gets a Release Date
While we’re making our way through the must-watch movies of the summer, we can’t help but think ahead to the future blockbusters that are in store for us, including the surely amazing Wonder Woman sequel AND the next James Bond movie, which has just gotten a release date — with Daniel Craig reportedly on board to reprise the role for a fifth time.
The 25th (!!) installment of the epic franchise will be released in theaters on November 8, 2019. Granted, that seems like a long time away, but if Daniel Craig is indeed returning to play the slick AF super spy, as The New York Times reports, then it will certainly be worth the wait.
While various names — including Idris Elba (swoon!) and even Charlize Theron (who happens to be Chris Hemsworth’s choice, BTW) — had been floating around as a possible replacement for the iconic character, it looks like the folks behind the scenes want at least one last stint with Craig. Given that the last film in the franchise, Spectre, took in $880.7 million globally, you can’t blame them for sticking with what works — at least for now.
Do you want Daniel Craig to play James Bond again? Who would you pick as the next Bond? Let us know @BritandCo!
