Hannah Davis’ 2 Vera Wang Wedding Dresses Combine Modern and Traditional Love
No one expected Hannah Davis’ wedding to Derek Jeter to be a simple affair, but when the Sports Illustrated model married her baseball star hubby this past weekend, the wedding was even more spectacular than we could have hoped. With not one, but TWO custom wedding dresses designed by the incomparable Vera Wang, the new Mrs. Jeter stepped into married life with some serious style that was both totally traditional and wonderfully modern.
26-year-old Hannah opted for a duo of gowns for her wedding day, one for the ceremony and the second for the reception where she could kick back with her new 42-year-old mister. Both utterly gorgeous, Vera Wang posted pics of the designs to Instagram that gave us a peek at the luscious looks.

The first dress, meant for the ceremony, was a custom mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline, tulle halter high neck and plunging back. With layers of tulle and hand appliquéd Chantilly lace covering the dress from the neck to the full train, it was a traditional dream come true.
The second dress was slightly more modern and meant for the reception, described by the designer herself as a “custom V-neck charmeuse halter gown with white illusion tulle detail at waist and double silk georgette A-line skirt accentuated by side godets.” Well, dang.
Both incredibly beautiful and surely looking gorgeous on Hannah, there’s no doubt these unique designs made her big day even more special.
