Katherine Schwarzenegger Wrote a Sweet Note to New Fiancé Chris Pratt
One day after Chris Pratt revealed that he and Katherine Schwarzenegger were engaged, the bride-to-be celebrated the happy news on social media with a sweet message for her new fiancé.
“My sweet love,” she wrote on Instagram on Monday, January 14. “Wouldn’t want to live this life with anyone but you.” She ended her message with a heart emoji and a diamond ring emoji.
In addition to the note, Schwarzenegger shared the photo Pratt had posted to announce the engagement. In the snap, the couple share an affectionate hug and Schwarzenegger’s diamond engagement ring is on clear display.
“Sweet Katherine, so happy you said yes!” Pratt captioned the photo when he shared it on Sunday. “I’m thrilled to be marrying you. Proud to live boldly in faith with you. Here we go!”
Before revealing their engagement to the world, Pratt and Schwarzenegger, the eldest daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, kept their relationship relatively private. They were first linked last summer after being introduced by Shriver, and while they have since been spotted on multiple dates and family outings, they only made their relationship Instagram official in December, when Pratt posted a birthday note to Schwarzenegger.
This will be Pratt’s second marriage. He and ex-wife Anna Faris split in August 2017 but remain friends and amicable co-parents. Faris (who is dating cinematographer Michael Barrett) even congratulated Pratt and Schwarzenegger on their engagement, commenting on the initial announcement, “I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!” On Schwarzenegger’s post, she added, “I love you guys!”
So far, Pratt and Schwarzenegger haven’t revealed any wedding plans.
