Minimal tattoos + tiny tattoos are having a moment. Nowadays most folks walk out of a tattoo parlor not with a full sleeve but rather an arrow the size of a toothpick or a taco the size of a penny. It seems as though both of these two options were still a bit too bold for the high fashion Kardashian, Kendall Jenner. The model + reality star and her friend, Hailey Baldwin recently hit up NYC tattoo artist Jon Boy for some new ink. For Kendall’s first tattoo she skipped right over the popular first picks (AKA a heart outline) and instead went for a white dot – literally.
Jon Boy posted a photo on his Instagram of both him and Kendall showing off matching microscopic dots by the base of their middle fingers. We get that she may have wanted to start small, but this is taking it to another level. Although the tattoo is tiny to say the least, apparently it didn’t stop her followers from wanting to follow in her footsteps. After Jon Boy posted the photo with Kendall, he has also shared another photo of the same tattoo captioned, “Look what you all started @joetermini @kendalljenner.” The Regina George effect is a real thing, you guys.
Hailey Baldwin, on the other hand opted for something a little bit bolder. She went for a small cursive “g” behind her ear to honor a young girl named Georgia who is battling a rare brain disorder. On her Instagram she writes, including a shout out for Georgia’s parents Chad and Julia Veach: “G for Georgia #georgiaonmymind :) love u both@juliaveach @chad_veach.”
