Lady Gaga’s Designer Dressed Michelle Obama and the Result Is Stunning
Michelle Obama is undoubtedly among the most fashionable first ladies the White House has ever seen, and as her days as FLOTUS come to an end, she continues to slay. In fact, Michelle’s latest dress was designed by the same man who brings Lady Gaga’s memorable looks to life. No, we’re not talking about a Kermit the Frog-adorned dress or an all-meat outfit, but something just as much of a crowd-shocker, if only because she looked so stunning in it.
While attending last night’s state dinner in honor of Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife Ho Ching, Michelle stepped out in front of the cameras in a gown that was absolutely stunning. The white dress was a custom creation by Brandon Maxwell, and it was as chic as they come.
The gown was a strapless dress with a layered detail at the breast, and the waist was lightly belted before flowing down into a gorgeous skirt. With matching white drop-down earrings as the only accessory, her coordinated nails topped off the elegant look with just the right amount of edge.
Check out how the tails of the dress sweep behind her when she walks down the stairs. So lovely!
Obviously, President Obama approved as well, if his thumbs-up and impressed expression are any indication.
