Lauren Conrad’s Favorite Summer-Ready Shorts Are Just $30
Beyoncé may be all glammed out when it comes to showcasing maternity style, but Lauren Conrad, your favorite aught reality star pregnant with her first child, is going for a far more low-key (read: affordable) approach. In fact, as she recently told Refinery 29, she hasn’t really done much at all in the way of wardrobe updates since getting preggers, opting for cheap and easy styles like a stretchy Forever 21 midi dress instead.
Now, she’s spilling the beans on another budget-friendly favorite in her closet with her list of “Friday Favorites,” and you know what? They’re pretty perfect.
The 31-year-old Paper Crown designer said that when it comes to shorts, it’s not the recently revived jort (thanks, Gigi Hadid) or lace shorts she’s feeling, but Zara’s Ruffle Floral Print Bermudas ($30).
Between its light and delicate viscose fabric and its Bahama mama print, the pair has the momma-to-be dreaming of a beach-front vacay. “These tropical-printed Zara shorts have me dying for an island getaway,” the LC Lauren Conrad designer wrote. Us too, girl — we can practically hear those waves crashing on the beach now.
$30, summer-ready, and LC-approved? How many can we buy at once?
