Disney’s RL Mulan Already Has Princess-Ready Red Carpet Style

Disney has already given us a live action remake of movies like Beauty and the Beast and The Jungle Book, and when they announced that they'd be doing a remake of Mulan (along with eight others!), people were understandably very excited. We now know who will be playing the titular role — Chinese actress Liu Yifei. While Mulan isn't actually a princess, she's still counted among the Disney princesses, and Liu already has the style to match. Scroll ahead to see some of her best looks.

19th International Shanghai Film Festival: Liu stunned in a pretty muted peach dress for the occasion. Photo via VCG/Getty)
69th Cannes Film Festival: For the screening of Cafe Society, Yifei wore a white floral Dior number. It wasn't her first interaction with the brand; she also happens to be the ambassador for Dior Prestige Skincare. (Photo via Tony Barson/FilmMagic)
Vogue China Gala Dinner: An ankle-length black and white floral dress is the perfect touch for any fancy dinner, and the 30-year-old nailed it. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
2015 Bazaar Star Charity Night: The future Disney princess kept it simple for the event, proving you don't need to have an extra-long train to have all eyes on you. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
The Third Way of Love: Is that Mulan or Cinderella? The actress busted out a baby blue gown with a sweetheart neckline that was reminiscent of the glass-slippered royal. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
18th Shanghai International Film Festival: Even Elsa wouldn't want to let this glittery blue beauty go. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
For Love or Money Press Conference: Princesses shouldn't be limited to pastels, something Liu demonstrated with a sheer metallic gray gown on the red carpet. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
17th Shanghai International Film Festival: The Chinese stunner brought an air of whimsical fantasy to the carpet with this soft lilac beribboned piece. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
20th Shanghai International Film Festival: Sleeping Beauty's Flora would be pleased with the shade of this Reem Acra dress. (Photo via VCG/Getty)
