Stop Everything — Madewell Now Sells Intimates for All Your #Basic Needs
You already know Madewell as your go-to for perfectly fitting denim, gingham dresses and everything else for your Tomboy look. Now, the brand is taking care of all of your sartorial needs with a new collection of intimates. Ooh la la! They’ve still got your #basic back, though. These classic bralettes and underwear sets are designed to be comfy, effortless and functional. And you’ll want to wear them pretty much every day. Here are all the deets.
Comfy and Cozy Sets: Underwire is pretty much the worst, amiright? The 16 bralettes in the new collection are wire-free, so you can throw them on and be super comfortable, even on days when you just.can’t.even. “The team and I were having trouble finding minimalist bralettes and underwear that were made for every day. We were looking for pieces that were high quality, uncomplicated and comfortable but still looked good. So we decided to make intimates that filled that void and matched Madewell’s approach to dressing,” says Madewell’s head designer Joyce Lee.
The Price Is Right: Everything in the new collection is between $12 and $32, so you won’t break the bank. But because it’s Madewell, you know you’re getting really good quality for your money. The brand went with materials like oh-so-comfortable cotton modal, lace and mesh. Think sexy meets functional. “Our ultimate goal is to create pieces that are equally beautiful as they are functional,” Lee says.
Ready to buy? The entire line will be available online on Madewell.com and in stores on February 7. It will also be available at Nordstrom locations nationwide. So. much. YAS.
