Michele Just Launched a Stylish Smart Watch (No, for Real)

When smart watches broke onto the scene, the next phase of functional fashion was officially upon us. But as much as brands have tried to say their high-tech time tellers are stylish, the offerings thus far have left us a little, er, underwhelmed. Sure, the novelty of having a Dick Tracy style wrist adornment is undoubtedly cool, but most just looked, well, terrible. Now, it appears our wish has been granted, as luxury watch label Michele is giving the people (us) what they (we) want: an actual, for real, fashionable smartwatch. Hey, now!

What sets the Michele Connected Hybrid Smartwatch ($495) apart is how un-smart it appears. At first glance, it looks like the classic offerings the brand is known for. With a traditional bezel and an alligator strap, you could absolutely mistake it for your go-to high-end timepiece. However, this beauty comes with a whole slew of capabilities that include activity tracking, notifications, and a customizable function button that can manage your music or snap a photo (the dream!). Will we look crazy snapping a pic with what appears to be a regular, everyday watch? Maybe. But, WHO CARES?

One more reason we’re really feeling this piece? The Hybrid retails for $495. While still an investment, this is noteworthy coming from a brand that averages about twice that for its usual retail price.

The Hybrid is currently offered in three perfectly versatile colors (navy, white, and black), meaning it’s a buy that has a seriously excellent cost-per-wear ratio. Plus, it stacks nicely with arm parties.

In short, our final verdict is in: The Michele Connected Hybrid Smartwatch is the stylish technology we’ve been waiting for. Excuse us as we add it to our holiday wish list ASAP.
