Just as spring is blooming, we have a nature-inspired name to go along with the sweet season. Remember how psyched we were with the rumors that Blake Lively鈥檚 baby鈥檚 name was Violet? Designer Nate Berkus joyfully announced the birth of his daughter Poppy with husband Jeremiah Brent on Facebook this morning. We are so excited to finally be a family of 3!鈥 He continued the update by assuring everyone just how aware he is of the work ahead of them. 鈥淎s anyone with a newborn knows, we have our work cut out for us but couldn鈥檛 be happier to be embarking on this life changing journey that is parenthood. Thank you all for your well wishes and support.鈥 Our pro tip to keep that sanity is to savor bathtime, dads.

Not only does the couple, who got married at the New York Public Library in May, have their hands full courtesy of their new addition but they will also be busy decorating the nursery. Yep, even though Nate is a design pro, they held off on decorating their daughter鈥檚 room until she was born. Nate told People the reason behind that decision, 鈥淚鈥檓 Jewish, so we don鈥檛 decorate the nursery before the baby鈥檚 born. It鈥檚 a superstition; it鈥檚 a cultural thing. I think it means you鈥檙e tempting fate, so I鈥檓 not tempting anything: healthy baby, gorgeous nursery on the way. Knock on wood!鈥
